Its goal is to contribute to contemporary cultural production with creativity and responsibility. Over the years the short-films produced by MAQUINA have received several awards and participated the festival around the world like: New York Film Festival, Uppsala International Short Film Festival, \u00c9 Tudo Verdade – International Documentary Film Festival, S\u00e3o Paulo International Film Festival, Festival Internacional de Cine Documental y Cortometraje de Bilbao, Festival de Cine Latino-Americano de Havana, Festival Internacional de Cine en Guadalajara. CAMINHOS (On the move), a co-production between MAQUINA and SESCTV, has received the TAL Awards at DocMontevideo 2013.
