Os 35 anos e os 35 milímetros me comovem e materializam o voar do tempo. Estou especialmente tocada em poder trazer esse emaranhado de emoções para uma publicação. A trajetória da Maquina é marcada pela retomada do cinema nacional e as subsequentes interrupções e retornos de políticas públicas de incentivo à sétima arte. Cada ano passado significou sempre uma vitória, e a beleza do conjunto se dá no arco do tempo, na continuidade do trabalho.

With the sound of his trombone in the background, the film takes the trombonist Raul de Souza back to Bangu (RJ) and reconstructs his trajectory. VIVA VOLTA (Turning) revists Saravah, a film from 1969, and, in 2005, promotes Raul de Souza reunion with Maria Bethânia. Together, they celebrate their devotion to music.
